Once again we have a map that divides the single PUD of Poinciana (83,000 persons) into three seperate State House Districts. This is illegal according to amendment 6. Amendment 6 says that areas defined by single geographiclal boundaries should be kep in single districts. The State of Florida recognized Poinciana as a single geographical district when it defined it as a single PUD. Not 3, not 2 but 1 single PUD geographically defined community. If the State of Florida recognizes this then why can’t the redistricting people?
