    when will the congressional districts be voted on and when will they take effect

    • The congressional districts will be voted on when the Legislature is in Session. The next Session begins January 10, lasting through March 9, 2012. So they congressional districts would be voted on sometime between January 10-March 9. The congressional districts will take effect before the August, 2012 Primary elections.

  2. This plan can not be approved because 2002 district 17, which is both geographically compact and majority black, is destroyed without replacement.
