  1. This map violates amendment 6 because it splits the Poinciana CDP of 83,000 persons into three seperate districts. Yes, Poinciana is not a city. The issue was studied but it was never allowed to be voted on by the residents by the legislative representitives. Now these same representitives hope to benefit by denying 83,000 persons to reside in a single district.

    All three maps under consideration group parts of East Orlando with part of the I-95 corridor, which would mean that many of East Orlando’s residents would work and be involved mainly in communities outside their district. To minimize that effect, it seems that the easternmost region of East Orlando should be included with I-95, This map inexplicably groups the western part of East Orlando with I-95, making it a less sensible choice than the other two.
